Why bagged garbage?  It's how we are able to offer and keep lower pricing. We require bagged refuse placed inside our carts as we use smaller more eco-friendly trucks for collection.  If you have additional bags, please set them next to your container.  Some weeks we all have a little extra and our goal is to be customer focused and flexible.

*All we ask is that you donate 1 can of food for our local food bank for each week we pickup your cans for recycling.  The tin and aluminum cans may be placed next to your pickup container in a plastic grocery bag. Kindly set your donation next to it.  We will deliver the canned food to the food bank and you can visit our site to follow the progress in number of cans donated.  (Click on Food Bank Donations tab)    If you don't want to recycle, but want us to deliver your canned food donations, leave them with your garbage and we will take them to the Food Bank.

Answers to some of your questions:

Our carts are large and will hold the average households refuse.  If you have additional, please bag it and set it next to the cart.  We have based "average" on national and local studies.  By virtue of family size and/or lifestyle, some people just have more garbage than others. 

The goal here is to manage household waste efficiently - bagging your garbage allows our personnel to handle it quickly and it affords you some security and privacy.  It's also a little less smelly in the summer heat.  Large kitchen bags to lawn bags are fine, just please don't fill it with little grocery bags.

We are able to guarantee stable pricing because our business model is different.  The vehicles we use are smaller, quieter, and more fuel-efficient  Our routes are in a well-defined area which allows us to control costs.  Our pricing is guaranteed for the next two years.
